Oct 18 2026

Depot search, named backpacks, conditions in the HUD, classic name rules and a faster start on phones.

  • Depot search: the depot locker window has a search button. Find any item in your depot by name or category, see where it lies, and take it out. Stand next to the locker to use it.
  • Name your backpacks: open a container's menu and choose "Edit Name". Only you see the name. It is removed when the container leaves your inventory or depot.
  • Conditions in the HUD: icons for conditions such as poison, burning or haste can now be shown next to your health and mana arcs. Turn them on under Options → HUD.
  • Phones: a single tap on a depot locker, chest or closed door next to you now opens it.
  • Phones: entering the game for the first time is faster, and the game runs more smoothly.
  • Character names: new names follow the classic rules: letters only, a capital at the start of each word, and no monster or NPC names. A new button suggests a classic name for you.
  • Online record: when a new record of players online is reached, everyone in the game is told.
  • Feedback: "The game lags" is now its own choice in the feedback card, apart from "Levelling is too slow".
  • Spell List: a new sidebar window lists every spell with its words, mana and level. Tap a spell for its details and cast it from there.
  • Hunt Analyser: your session now survives a reconnect, and you can save, export or copy it.
  • Phones: word suggestions above the on-screen keyboard. Containers you open from the ground, such as corpses and chests, get their own tab.
  • Phones: tapping an NPC says "hi", and a trader then opens its shop by itself. New characters see a few short tips on how to play by touch.
  • Low health alert: an optional red warning at the edge of the screen when your health drops low. Turn it on under Options → HUD.
  • New accounts: you can play right after signing up and confirm your email address later.

Oct 17 2026

Steadier phone connections, smoother play and fixes for using items while walking.

  • Phones: "Optimize Connection Stability" is now on by default. It helps the game stay connected while you briefly switch to another app, and keeps working through a reconnect.
  • Hotkeys: pressing a rune or potion hotkey twice while walking no longer pulls your character back a step.
  • Phones: while your thumb is on the D-pad, a second finger can scroll containers, side panels and chat, and move the minimap's floor slider.
  • Loot highlights stay on corpses you walk away from and disappear together with the corpse.
  • Performance: the side panels and graphics do less work every frame, so the game runs more smoothly.
  • Journey: your Journey page now gets a picture for every 5 skill levels past 50.

Oct 16 2026

Monsters leave dropped characters alone, quieter reconnects, and more information in NPC shops.

  • Dropped connections: monsters no longer attack a character whose connection has dropped. Other players still can.
  • Phones: a lost connection reconnects quietly, and reopening a tab that was in the background takes you straight back into the game.
  • Black screen: if your browser drops the game's graphics, the game screen now recovers by itself.
  • NPC trade: the list shows each item's stats and the level needed to use it, and you can look at a ware before buying.
  • Walking: click-to-walk now takes diagonal steps and walks around creatures.
  • Touch: taps on creatures are more precise, a double tap picks up an item, and on a phone you can tap your level or a skill to see how many percent you have to go.
  • Items: your next step no longer cancels using a backpack or an equipped item.
  • Quick loot now marks monster corpses only, never a dead player's body.
  • New players on a computer: walking with W, A, S and D is the default, and Space attacks the next target.

Oct 15 2026

A World Map of everything you have explored, better phone layouts in landscape, and a working frame rate limit.

  • World Map: the map button on the minimap opens a map of everything you have explored. Pan, zoom, mark places and walk there.
  • Your explored map is now saved, with no size limit.
  • Options: the Frame Rate Limit and "Use Native Mouse Cursor" options now work, and options that did nothing were removed. Phones run at 60 frames per second by default.
  • Phones in landscape: the equipment panel fits its column, containers show four slots per row, and the menu bar is compact.
  • Touch: dragging an item shows the field it will land on, and tapping an NPC opens its shop again.
  • Graphics: many small fixes so the game looks like the original, among them outfit colours, light, missiles and creature names.
